Implementation of the knowledge acquired during the summer school and conducting fieldwork in Pinar del Río. We worked with bats, birds, rodents, and mosquitoes. Additionally, we participated in the discussion on the screening of the documentary “La fabrique des pandémies” at the Fábrica de Artes Cubano. Furthermore, as part of this school, we attended a day of exchanges and debates on the topic of “One Health”. Researchers from the Pedro Kourí Institute (IPK), the University of Havana, the National Center for Agricultural Health (CENSA), the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), the Indio Hatuey Experimental Station, and the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Sagua la Grande participated in this school.
